Teledyne Relays Displays Shock and Vibration Capabilities
½ Crystal Can Relays (255/257 Series)

A major Aerospace company has recently evaluated and tested Teledyne Relays' ½ Crystal Can Relay (255/257 series) and confirmed that the relays are capable of withstanding sinusoidal vibration levels up to 95 G's, up to 2200 Hz. The sinusoidal vibration test results show that Teledyne Relays' ½ Crystal Can 255/257 relays exhibit resonant frequency characteristics in the range of 4500 Hz to 6500 Hz up to 70 G's amplitude, far above the typical frequency range of 2000 Hz and 3000 Hz at 30 G's, in typical aerospace applications. The relays were also subjected to mechanical shock tests. The mechanical shock test indicate that Teledyne Relays' ½ Crystal Can 255/257 relays are capable of withstanding 484 G's @ 0.5 millisecond ½ sine shock pulses without any contact chattering detected. Additionally, the relays were tested up to and survived 930g's @ 0.5 millisecond ½ sine shock pulses. There is the possibility of contact chattering condition at these levels. However, contact transfer conditions were not observed in any of the test conditions.
Teledyne Relays Announces New LB363 and GLB363 LoopBack Relay Series
New product designed with built-in 100nF capacitors for AC Bypass

Hawthorne, Calif. (October 2011) - Teledyne Relays introduces the first ever hermetically sealed LoopBack relay. Each LoopBack relay combines two DPDT electromechanical relays in one package that includes an internal bypass path for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) applications. The LoopBack relay combines the technology of two Teledyne RF300 Series relays which eliminates the need for external PCB traces in loop-back test applications. This innovation results in superior signal integrity and RF performance, while taking minimal board space. The LoopBack relay is designed for digital signaling applications and provides excellent signal integrity up to 12 Gbps data rates
Teledyne Relays Announces New RF332 Relay Series

Hawthorne, Calif. (October, 2011) - After the successful release of the RF312 series and field application feedback from system designers all over the world, the RF332 has been designed to exhibit high repeatability and is capable of transmitting signal integrity up to 12 Gbps data rates as well as RF performance over a bandwidth from DC-8GHz. The sensitive RF332 relay has a high resistance coil, thus requiring extremely low operating power.
