Teledyne Relays Announces Series SF Solid Sate Relays
HAWTHORNE, Calif. (July, 2009) - Teledyne Relays has introduced the SF series to their industrial solid state relays product line. These relays are designed for multiple applications, including those where hockey puck style relays need to be mounted onto a PCB. The SF relays are designed with high efficiency Thyristors that offer lower power dissipation, higher surge current rating and lower thermal resistance.
The low profile SF solid state relays are offered in 25A and 50A models. The SF relays incorporate a similar design to our SH series with a much lower height. The SF relays' hockey puck measures 2.30 x 1.77 x .640 (not including screw terminals) inches (58.5 x 45 x 16.3 mm) and weighs 2.29 ounces (65 g).
