Teledyne Relays Announces CR-33 and CCR-33 Coaxial Switches for Microwave Applications
HAWTHORNE, California (April 26, 2004) - Teledyne Relays today introduced the Series CR-33 and Series CCR-33 coaxial switches, two highly versatile families of broadband, SPDT, microwave devices that are designed for low insertion loss, high isolation and repeatability.
The Elite CR-33 family has a higher operating frequency and temperature range than the Commercial CCR-33 family. Each switch is available with either a failsafe or latching actuator rated at 12, 15 or 28 Vdc. Both families feature indicator contacts, TTL drivers and diodes as options.
The characteristic impedance for all switches is 50 Ohms. The compact switches are available with SMA, T, N and SMB connectors. The package is compatible with industry-standard mounting hole patterns.
The Series CR-33 is rated for DC to 22 GHz over a temperature range of -54° C to +85°C. The Series CCR-33 is rated for DC to 18 GHz over a temperature range of -25°C to +65°C.
The standard models measure 1.5 x 1.57 x 0.52 inches (38 x 40 x 13 mm) and weigh 1.65 ounces (47g). The TTL models measure 2.07 inches (52.5mm) in height. An optional narrow body measures 1.34 inches (34mm) wide.
The CCR-33 is priced at $72 each in quantities of 100 units. Lead time for delivery is six weeks.
