Teledyne Relays introduces two commercial DC Solid-State Relays for medium - to high-phower loads
HAWTHORNE, Calif. (August 9, 2004) - Teledyne Relays today introduced the Series S20DC30 and Series S20DC100 commercial DC solid-state relays for switching medium- to high-power DC loads. These devices feature the latest-generation MOSFET technology as well as an innovative isolated driver to ensure fast power turn on and off.
The Series S20DC30 offers output to 30A at 200 Vdc while the Series S20DC100 offers output to 100A at 200 Vdc.
Both provide ultra low on-state resistance, low output leakage current and low control current consumption. The relays feature triggered control input to avoid linear control risks and fast switching times. The S20DC30 and S20DC100 also offer low conducted and radiated disturbances, and a LED for status.
The relays are designed for direct switching of DC loads. They may also be used in an H-Bridge configuration for reversing. These relays may be used in a variety of power applications, including heating control, motor control, UPS, automotive, transportation systems, back-up power systems, stepper motor drivers, industrial and process control, according to Antonio Gallegos, product marketing engineer.
The Series S20DC30 and Series S20DC100 conform to an industry-standard hockey-puck package that measures 1.75 x 2.29 x 1.10 inches (44.5 x 58.2 x 28 mm). Each model weighs 3.52 ounces (100g).
Pricing for the S20DC30 and S20DC100 is $88.20 and $105.00, respectively, in large quantities of 250pcs. Lead time for delivery is eight to 10 weeks.
