Thin Is In With New Series X75 Solid-State Relays From Teledyne Relays
HAWTHORNE, Calif. (October 12, 2006) - Teledyne Relays introduced the compact Series X75 commercial AC solid-state relay, which is roughly half the size of an industry-standard hockey-puck package. The new high-power Series X75 relays complement previously released 16A and 12A touchproof spring terminal models.
Series X75 relays offer output to 75A 660 Vac in a package that measures 3.15 x 0.88 x 0.84 inches (80 x 22.4 x 21.4 mm) and weighs 3.17 ounces (90g). The user-friendly design allows design engineers to easily connect multiple relays using a bus bar to create multi-output solutions.
Series X75 relays are designed for most loads and are capable of handling loads with high inrush current, such as infrared lamps. Back-to-back thyristors on output provide long life. The relays deliver up to 1600V blocking voltage.
Pricing for Series X75 relays is $33.80 each for 480V zero-cross turn-on models and $42.25 each for 600V random turn-on models in quantities of 500. Lead time for delivery is eight to 10 weeks.
